DK-Intertrade is the winner for the third time at Vinalies Internationales.

The official results for one of the most prestigious international wine tasting contests Vinalies Internationales 2008 were announced on Mach 5, 2008. This event took place in France between February 29 and March 4.

The Firebird legend Pinot Noir 2005 wine won the silver medal. DK-Intertrade company participates in this contest for the third time and constantly gets a prize. Vinalies Internationales is the annual wine show which is organized under the aegis of International Union of Oenologists and International Vine and Wine Organization. All the winners of this contest are creating the "1000 Vins du Monde" directory which is the guidance for many wine dealers around the world.

Firebird Legend wines of DK-Intertrade company were nominated with over 40 medals and awards on the leading international wine tasting contests of Great Britain (IWC, Decanter World Wine Awards, IWSC), France (Challenge du Vin, Chardonnay du Monde, Vinalies Internationales), Germany (MUNDUSvini) and Italy (VinItaly).

Nowadays Firebird Legend trademaks wine are selling at 12 countries: Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Mexico and others.

FIREBIRD LEGEND wines were selected in two contests from the United Kingdom.

International wine tasting contest The International Wine and Spirit Competition'2007 and Decanter World Wine Award'2007 announced their winners at the International Fair of Wines and Alcohol drinks which took place in London last week. In one row with the famous world wine producers DK-Intertrade company wines were nominated with 2 bronze medals at "The International Wine and Spirit Competition 2007":

... and 4 awards were given at "Decanter World Wine Award 2007".

"Decanter World Wine Award" is quite an important contest which is very close to the consumers group. It is organized by the specialized wine magazine Decanter in Great Britain. Firebird Legend wines are receiving high awards for the 3rd year in a row:

"Firebird Legend" wines were honored with 32 medals at 8 leading international wine contests in France, Italy, UK, Germany since 2004. Also, this trademark is represented in 123 "Waitrose" supermarkets all over the Great Britain and in 25 restaurants of London City.

Аnd now in Lithuania!

The "Lithuanian wine championship" took place during the exhibition "Vyno Dienos. Vilnius 2007" at the Centre of Modern arts on May 4 and 5, 2007. The jury was completed with the famous wine experts, journalists, main importers and distributors of the wine products in Lithuania.

Among many wines from the different parts of the world the jury distinguished the following wines of our company: Dionis Cahor Blagovest 2005 with the gold medal and Firebird Legend Merlot 2005 with the silver medal.

DK-Intetrade ltd company is selling wines in Lithuania since 2005; and they are represented on the main supermarket networks Maxima Latvija SIA and Iki.

Тhird year in a row Chardonnay from the DK-Intertrade is in the list of the best World Chardonnay wines.

The 14th International wine tasting contest "Chardonnay du Monde®" took place in Chateau des Ravatys, domaine de l’Institut Pasteur at Saint Lager, Burgundy region, France between March 14 and 17, 2007; and "DK-Intertrade" company took another award.

Competing with the world leading wine producers Moldovan wine showed a very good result – bronze medal for the Firebird Legend Chardonnay 2004 wine.

The "Chardonnay du Monde" is one of the biggest tasting competitions in the world. Annually it gathers the best Chardonnay wines from all over the world to select the most deserving representatives from the qualities which characterize exactly this sort of wines. Diversity and variety of style, quality and high standard is the main motto of this event.

949 samples of wine from 38 countries took place in the competition of 2007. Among them 66 gold, 170 silver and 79 bronze medals were awarded.

It is deserved to mention that it is not the first award of Chardonnay wines from the Firebird series. They were awarded at the prestigious wine contests in 2006: International Wine Challenge, Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine&Spirit Competition (Great Britain).

The Firebird Legend TM wines are exported now to Great Britain, Check Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Romania and other countries for the several years in a row.

Moldovan wines in Germany.

The 2nd year in a row Moldovan wines represented by "DK-Intertrade" company are receiving the awards at the German prestigious tasting contest "Mundus Vini Great International Wine Awards 2006". From 4495 samples of wines by 33 countries of the world the jury selected the following Moldovan wines:

The "Mundus Vini Great International Wine Awards 2006" is quite young; it is organized in Germany with OIV and UIOE organizations patronage since 2001. It is now the biggest in Germany and one of the most famous in the world. The main purpose of this event is to make popular for public the most quality wines.

It is important to mention that last year our Firebird Chardonnay 2003 and Firebird Merlot Rose 2004 also received awards at "Mundus vini".

"DK-Intertrade" proves the quality of wines year after the year. Since the beginning of 2006 we won 22 awards at the international prestigious contests in France, Belgium, Italy, Romania and Great Britain.

We have won the medal on the International contest again.

Firebird Legend Chardonnay 2005 took the bronze medal at The International Wine and Spirit Competition'2006 which took place in London, UK.

This event exists since 1969 and it is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks contest in the world. The number of participants rose over three times over last 37 years. This fact indicates the growing popularity of the competition. Over 5000 samples of wines from the 70 countries of the world participated this year.

It was the first experience for our company at this event with the bronze medal won. It is the 34th medal at the different international competitions in 2006; 19 of them are won by Firebird Legend wines.

The Firebird Legend series is selling very successfully since 2004 in 9 countries of Europe and Asia. Annually, it is expanding its' markets.

The Excellent Five of Firebird Legend conquers the Decanter for the second time in a row.

5 wines of Firebird Legend trademark by Dk-Intertrade company are distinguished by the awards on the prestigious international tasting contest "Decanter World Wine Award 2006" which is organized by the professional wine magazine Decanter in the United Kingdom for the third time. The Firebird Legend wines were selected by the leading wine experts. About 6300 wine samples from all over the world were tasted.

The basic idea of this event is to help consumers to make the right choice based on the opinion of many different experts. The jury is judging all the components of the wine including quality of the wine itlself, price/quality ratio and even the design of the product.

Firebird Legend wins!

3 wines of DK-Intertrade company were awarded with the Seal of Approval at the tasting contest "International Wine Challenge" which took place in London between April 24 and May 5. Over 9000 samples of wine take place at the competition. 450 experts in 24 judging commissions evaluated 70-90 wines daily in three stares during 12 days. This event is the biggest in the world with the number of participants. The worldwide-known wine experts, like Oz Clarke and Jancis Robinson were among the jury.

Firebird Legend is a series of bright and remarkable wines made by "Aurvin" factory back in South West of Moldova, nearby the city of Vulcanesti. The silver bouquet from DK Intertrade

Two silver medals were included to the list of company awards after the 13th International tasting contest Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2006. It was taken in Brussels, Belgium for the first time in its history. 200 professional experts from 43 countries tasted more than 5000 wines from over 40 countries presented by all the continents of the world during 3 days in April 21-23, 2006.

The company took place at this event for the first time in its history and won two silver medals straight away for the wines: Firebird Legend Sauvignon Blanc 2005 and Firebird Legend Merlot Rose 2005

The Firebird Legend series of wines are bright and easy-to-remember. They were created together with the international level wine-makers Angle Muir and Rob Cameron. These wines are selling at the British market for 3 years. They are the only ones presented in "Waitrose" network (123 supermarkets) from the Moldovan wines. Nowadays, Firebird Legend wines are selling in 9 countries of the world including Great Britain, Czech Republic, Romania, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

The 10th award in year 2006

The tasting contest "Challenge International du Vin 2006" took place in Bour-sur-Gironde, France on April 22. It is well known all over the world. Our wine took the silver medal.
This 30th jubilee event was marked with the maximum samples of the wines-participants (5072 from 36 countries of the world). The jury awarded 1447 wines with 250 gold medals, 510 silver medals and 687 bronze medals. The Sauvignon Dionis Collection 2005 of DK-Intertrade company is among them. It is the 10th award for the company this year and over 70 wines of the company were nominated at the different international contests and exhibitions during the last 3 years.

Sauvignon Dionis Collection 2005: The grape has been harvesting manually for 2 weeks to get the full palette of aromas. The wine from the early grape has the aroma with the tunes of the red Bulgarian pepper, when the late grape gives the fruit character with the tunes of tropic fruits and tints of maraca. The separated parts of grape were left for the different periods of maceration (up to 8 hours) for the maximum extracting of fragrant substances. The long fermentation at the low temperatures keeps the specific aroma of the selected grapes.
It is recommended to serve with mild cheese, sea foods and fish in butter.
